Einstein the Parrot:  Talks and Squawks

I think Einstein is hilarious.

I also have an african grey parrot, although as of right now it is not as smart as Einstein.

Einstein shows every one how smart animals really are, just not all of them can speak our language like this parrot. When Einstein is presented to people, it hopefully opens up every one’s eyes to how far humans and animals have come. We can continue to grow with these animals. The more we learn about them, the more they learn about us.

My favorite part of the video is hearing Einstein’s reason as to why we should help protect him and his animal friends. “I’m special” says the parrot. Special is right, a 200 word vocabulary for a bird… is unbelievable. It is also very entertaining to watch.

For some reason we take interest in hearing our own vocabulary as long as it is coming from a species that does not normally understand it. After people get to hear this incredible bird talk, hopefully they will become more involved in helping animals. Einstein inspires me and I am sure a lot of other people.

I give props to Einstein the parrot! I hope he continues to learn more animal noises, word, and funny sounds!
