E.O. Wilson: Saving Life on Earth

As a boy, Wilson was facinated by the diversity of life and how our lives depend upon these creatures:  “there are over 500 species of bacteria now known that live in your mouth and throat, that are probably necessary to your health”.

E.O. Wilson shows a cool video of different micro organisms/ animals going through cycles of life. If none of these creatures were not alive, life would not be as we know it. If you were to take all insects off the face of the earth, all humanity would vanish within a few months.

Humans are putting animals into extinction by over hunting and fishing. If something isnt done to help the enviroment many creatures will die off.

I agree with Wilson, something has to be done. If we do not act to save the living things that help us live the human species will be destroyed. People should work together to make the earth a cleaner, and better place to live.

I am going to be more concerned when it comes to creatures from now on. I will do whatever we can do to help them not be killed. Watching this video inspired me to be more aware about these creatures. The creatures of the earth are not merely a part of the earth but they are the earth. Mr. Wilson is a great inspiration for the world and the enviroment.

I really enjoyed the video, and I cannot wait for other peoples feedback on it!

Save the creatures!
