Nellie McKay:  Sings “Clonie”

Nellie McKay sings a lot of different types of music. She is known to sing rap, groves, and barking. In this Ted talk she sing Clonie. She describes her performance song as “evils in science.” While singing she also plays the piano.

Her talk or music performance was funny but she was serious. The song was funny, because of the tune and some words made you laugh. Nellie talk was serious because she got on stage and went to work.

The words in the song Clonie, Nellie describes a life with a clone. So as Nellie sings the song she also tells a story behind it. The story in the song caught my interest, because it might be sending us a message that we might have clones one as our friend. Nellie multitasks on stage and shows different expressions at the same time. She also introduced a great impression on her personality and her talk. She stayed on task but had fun and showed a great talent on stage. Her talents show a fun side to singing.
